PARADISE
After many trips through the entire Mediterranean region we accidentally discovered the lovely fishing village of Platanias located in the the southern Region of Pelion, we could hardly believe it. The wonderful originality of Greece far away from mass tourism that we recognized from our childhood, still exists. Out of our desire to creating a second home for us and our friends in this place of longing, came the idea for the Kallithea Villas.
A SECOND HOME
In a quiet location above the village, we have built seven extraordinary and well-furnished holiday homes with wonderful sea views. Within walking distance to various beaches and the town with its small taverns and cafés, fishing boats and good shopping opportunities, but still on the hillside above the village, the Kallithea Villas are a wonderful temporary home – for us and for you
OUR TOWN –
PLATANIAS
The village of Platanias is located in the southernmost region of the Pelion peninsula: nestled amongst quaint mountain villages such as Argalasti and Lafkos, the road winds down to the sea ending at the Platanias pier. The view of the sheltered bay, the old town center, its taverns, cafes and the beach stretches along the pier to the left and right.
The magic of this place lies in its serene naturalness. Time runs slowly here, determined by the course of the sun and the sea. After hours on the beach, the best way to spend your lunch break is in the shade of the beach tavern or under the sycamore trees in the village, and you can enjoy the evening with guests and locals at the breakwater. After a short time the calm rhythm of the village takes over.
